Caitlyn has been obsessed with beauty and style since she was a little girl. By high school she was doing cuts and color for friends. She decided to pursue her passion, and studied hair, makeup and all the tools and elements of the trade at Capri Cosmetology Learning Center. She honed her craft in New York City, working with some of the best in style and fashion and rose to an assistant position with top stylists at the exclusive Pierre Michel Salon on Manhattan’s East 57th Street. She worked closely with the great Leon Sananes who encouraged her to refine and develop her skills. She became known as a specialist for braids, and has done Pop-Up braiding bars at fashion events with Refinery 29/Glossybox, and Puma (with Taryn Manning) among others. She continues to learn more techniques in styling, coloring and extension application and expand her horizons by taking courses in all things beauty including celebrity makeup artist Helen Andereson’s class at the Facestockholm store in Rhinebeck. Cancellation Policy
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 72 hours in advance via text and email because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply. - Less than 48 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. - “NO SHOWS” and cancelling the day of your appointment will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. - Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
